General Description: This position reports to the Director of Advancement. This person is  responsible for design and/or approval of all OCS promotional marketing materials and apparel, regularly updating OCS social media sites, and maintaining a positive image of OCS and engaging constituents through visual storytelling with an emphasis on admissions and advancement communications.



  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, marketing, communication, or related field
  • A spirit of dedication, teamwork, flexibility and responsiveness
  • A strong clear Christian testimony
  • A lifestyle of biblical integrity
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, etc.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of digital and print marketing and design
  • Knowledge of social media and analytics software
  • Experience managing business accounts for Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Vimeo, etc.
  • Able to create strategic content for print, social media and website
  • Event planning experience a plus
  • Experience with e-commerce sites
  • Professional photography experience a plus

Duties and Responsibilities


  • Models a consistent daily walk with Jesus Christ in speech, actions, attitudes
  • Actively involved in church
  • Follows Matthew 18 principle in dealing with interpersonal conflict



  • Maintain the OCS Facebook and Instagram accounts
  • Attend school events to promote on social media and take photos for materials and documentation
  • Support the advancement office in planning donor and alumni events
  • Create and update all OCS promotional and print materials
  • Take quality photographs for website and online posts
  • Coordinate video content with Scissortail Media and/or internally
  • Work with all departments to promote school events through social media and email communication
  • Oversee OCS Spirit Store designs and manage online shopping site
  • Maintain a shared drive of photos for internal use
  • Maintain the integrity of the OCS logo on all printed materials, apparel and/or digital media
  • Annually update the communication and branding guide
  • Create ads for local newspapers and magazines
  • Manage the design process of the annual report
  • Manage school-wide needs for design/photography
  • Manage school-wide approval of t-shirts, printed materials and social media accounts/content
  • Work closely with student organizations on design processes and approvals
