We are looking for a talented, smiling, enthusiastic Manager who cares deeply about culture, hospitality, and a positive work environment. We offer health, dental, and vision insurance after 60 days. 80 hours of paid vacation for the year is prorate and available upon hiring. After a year of continuous full-time employment, we offer 120 hours of paid vacation.

Duties and Responsibilities: The primary job duties and responsibilities of being a Manager include but are not limited to the following:

  • Manage and supervise shifts

  • Schedule writing for staff

  • Planning and managing service including reservations and events

  • Staff training, development and supervision

  • Developing guest relations

  • Provide incentives for staff members to go above and beyond the expectations

  • Keep an eye out for problems that arise in the kitchen

  • Seizing control of a situation at a moments notice

  • Assist in maintaining food and labor costs

  • Maintain health code standards

  • Maintain all checklists

  • Overseeing inventory

  • Enforce all handbook standards

  • Clear communication skills

  • Teamwork

  • Ability to maintain a fast-paced environment

  • Close attention to detail

  • Promise to maintain the company's brand and image through hard work, service and passion for hospitality

Qualifications: Tiny Boxwoods Productions require the minimum qualifications required to successfully perform the position of Manager:

  • Minimum 1 years of experience as a manager in a similar environment

  • TABC Certified

  • Texas Food Handlers certificate

  • Excellent guest service skills

  • Good memory

  • Flexible availability in scheduling

  • Capacity to multitask

  • Ability to work as part of a team

  • Friendly!

Working Conditions: The incumbent will be working in a restaurant setting, on the floor with guests, in the kitchen and dish area. Potential hazards include but are not limited to cuts, slipping, tripping, falls and burns. Frequent hand washing is required.

Physical Requirements: The incumbent is required to stand/walk for long periods of time. Incumbent is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and be able to constantly move around in the restaurant.
