At the intersection of education, technology, and play, Zorbit's Math by Carnegie Learning is a play-based learning platform for K-3 math that empowers teachers to elevate lesson plans in class, at home, and anywhere in between. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for someone with a keen interest in developing a stable, smooth, and entertaining game for young learners. This position covers everything from gameplay logic to asset management systems so we are looking for someone who is adaptable and whose interests align with this range of responsibility.  Someone who will fit right in with our highly entrepreneurial and driven team.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

  • Develop gameplay that follows design specifications;

  • Write and maintain game client code to interface with a data driven website;

  • Build tools for artists and designers to assist in the development of game content;

  • Collaborate with artists and designers on specifications;

  • Build and run unit tests for game systems.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION?

  • Experience in object-oriented and/or data oriented software development;

  • Strong analytical skills for complex and creative problem solving;

  • Excellent interpersonal skills; able to work closely with team members;

  • Demonstrated ability to write clean code;

  • Ability to self-manage and provide realistic and achievable deliverables.
