• Day Shift, 6:00 am to 5:00 pm, Friday through Monday, 4 days/10 hours 
• Night Shift, 5:00 pm to 4:00 am, Friday through Monday, 4 days/10 hours

Position Summary

The OCC Maintenance Controller will be a shift position within the CLA Operations Control Center (OCC). This individual will take on a technical and coordination role in the oversight of aviation service interruption events. The OCC Maintenance Controller will be responsible for service restoration, following up, and remaining in contact with all involved parties until service completion.

Responsibilities

• Receives internal service interruption calls through the one-call number during their shift.
• Acts quickly when investigating service interruptions, listening carefully to assess each issue for any need to escalate and/or accurately prioritize.
• Work towards aircraft release and safe assessment
• Utilizes the internal CRM system to document all service interruption calls from the time of phone call to trip completion, updating new information in the system at all times.
• Identifies personnel from different departments to engage, suggesting solutions and courses of action.
• Delegates appropriate tasks when needed, including vendors.
• Informs all involved personnel with an issue summary upon service completion.
• Properly turns over data and documentation to oncoming duty officers in rotation as needed.
• Promotes a proactive and collaborative environment within the Operations Control Center.
• Engage on CLA Emergency Response Program when needed.
• Besides the core of the OCC activities, additional activities include Maintenance Research, Maintenance Budgeting Support, Conformity Activities, and Dispatch Reliability.
• Additional multiple duties as required/assigned.

Education

Bachelor’s degree preferred. Corporate Jet/Business Aviation experience preferred.

Experience

Three years’ experience in a related position.

Skills and Abilities

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• CRM software knowledge preferred.
• Knowledge of FAA regulations, aircraft, and charter operational experience and requirements.
• Ability to perform a variety of communication tasks, including oral and written directions.
• Plan and complete assigned duties on a tight schedule and pressure.
• Ability to maintain patience under stress.
• Able to work on night shift and weekend shift.
