About the Job

As a Strategic Account Manager you will focus on growing business relationships with a book of Bresslergroup + Delve clients and possibly new accounts developed by the business team. We’ve built our business by maintaining and growing client relationships and expect average year-over-year retention of over 70 percent. We have a broad and deep offering which enables upselling and cross selling to existing accounts.


This can be a remote-only position, but a person in one of our office locations (Philadelphia, PA; Boston, MA; Madison, WI; or San Francisco, CA) is preferred.


Job Responsibilities 

  • Facilitate efforts to ensure the best probability of winning/growing business opportunities with existing clients.
  • Develop and track results of key account strategies and tactics aimed at continued growth and excellence.
  • Pursue business development opportunities for Bresslergroup+ Delve with new prospects within existing client organizations.
  • Seek introductions to additional decision makers within client organizations to grow awareness and create opportunities.
  • Educate prospect’s/client’s key influencing roles on the capabilities, competencies, and benefits that Bresslergroup+ Delve provides.
  • Social marketing of Bresslergroup+ Delve capabilities, experience, and competitive advantages.
  • Collaborate with clients, internal technical leads, and project management to deliver excellent results for clients.
  • Manage the business relationship with accounts including proposal development, ongoing customer satisfaction, billing, and collections.



About You


  • 5 years of combined experience in client-facing roles which have required account or project management responsibilities.
  • Experience with helping to define products and/or markets and ideally have a degree as a foundation for such work.
  • Experience directly consulting with stakeholders.

  • You think strategically, but also roll up your sleeves to get things done.
  • You have excellent writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills – all needed for your client-facing role and interacting with multidisciplinary, multi-cultural teams.
  • You are an effective listener and contributor at client meetings and have demonstrated your ability to document pertinent information.
  • You watch for opportunities to educate prospects and clients on innovation, while adjusting your interactions with them to best meet their experience and culture.
  • You want to be deeply immersed in the product innovation process and are willing to educate yourself as needed to truly understand the nature of client work.
  • You understand your clients’ business drivers including their innovation strategy, key competitors and their customers’ wants and needs.
  • You are confident in your technical abilities, and are comfortable with ambiguity and complexity, because sometimes that allows for the most unique, unexpected design solutions. You want to work in an environment where things move quickly, and you’re happy to adapt as situations shift
