Summary/Objective 

 

Ingo Money’s Compliance team is responsible for ensuring that a culture of compliance is present throughout the organization. We must align our compliance program with that of our Financial Institution partners and Corporate clients, which is set forth in our Compliance Program and Governance Policy.  The Compliance Assistant will work closely with Ingo’s Chief Compliance Officer (“CCO”) and Director of Technology Compliance (“DTC”) to ensure adherence to policies, procedures and guidelines necessary to meet or exceed the company’s overall compliance objectives.  . 

 

Specific Duties & Responsibilities 

 

  • Assist CCO with onboarding of vendors and clients, including screening against OFAC, negative news sources, banking or other government agencies, as applicable, escalating concerns to CCO; 

  • Clear vendor OFAC hits on a monthly basis; 

  • Review partner website for marketing compliance on a regular basis; 

  • Obtain annual review documents from clients, as applicable; 

  • Manage audit requests by working with CCO and DTC and other stakeholders; 

  • Manage onboarding and annual vendor due diligence; 

  • Assist with, and eventually manage the Technology Access Review process, monitoring and enforcing IT licensing and contractual compliance and ensuring proper maintenance of records related to assets, contracts, and licenses; 

  • Assist legal team with maintaining contracts in contract management system and follow-up for renewal deadlines; 

  • Assign Corporate Compliance Training and track to completion, escalating any exceptions to CCO; and 

  • Other tasks as assigned by CCO

Skills/Qualifications 

 

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications  

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral & written) 

  • Process and detail oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

  • Strong organization and time management skills 

  • A self-starter with ability to work independently 

  • A quick learner, comfortable working in a dynamic, fast changing environment 

  • Knows when to ask for assistance 

 

Education/Experience 

 

  • High School diploma or equivalent, required 

  • College degree, or the equivalent of 3-5 years professional work experience, required 

  • Experience with Vendor Management a plus 

  • Financial services, payment network and/or banking industry experience a plus
