About the Job

Delve + Bresslergroup is looking for a Content Marketing Strategist to drive the company's global brand growth through strategic content, events, and communications initiatives. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who is as comfortable translating analytics into content strategy as they are writing an editorial brief.

This role is a critical marketing role within the organization and will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing the overall company's content marketing strategy. The job of the Content Marketing Strategist is to think like a publisher/journalist, leading the development of content initiatives across multiple platforms and formats to drive sales, engagement, retention, leads, positive customer behavior, and brand awareness. This role can be in Madison, WI, Philadelphia, PA, San Francisco, or Boston.



  • Map out a content strategy that supports and extends marketing initiatives
  • Facilitate ongoing content planning and distribution across multiple channels to engage key personas at each point of the buying cycle
  • Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice, and optimized for search and user experience for all channels
  • Develop and manage a functional content calendar to support editorial pillars and serve particular persona groups
  • Develop a workflow for periodically assessing and evolving the company's buyer personas
  • Manage day-to-day content creation, editing, and promotion
  • Manage digital content hubs and all social channels including email and newsletter distribution
  • Develop a workflow for development of award submissions and case studies
  • Gather data and handle analytics (or supervise those who do) to measure and optimize content marketing initiatives and channels on a regular and ongoing basis
  • Develop standards, systems, and best practices (both human and technological) for content creation, distribution, maintenance, content retrieval and content repurposing
  • Leverage market data and internal stakeholders' expertise to regularly assess and evolve content pillars/topics, ensuring they're timely and relevant
  • Work closely with Marketing Communications and Visual Communications to ensure a consistent message across channels
  • Supervise writers, editors, and content strategists; be an arbiter of best practices in grammar, messaging, writing, and style
  • Present to executives on  program approaches and results
  • Establish governance workflow for requesting, creating, editing, publishing, and retiring content
  • Work with our technical team to implement appropriate CMS
  • Conducting periodic competitive audits
  • Supervise the maintenance of content inventories
About You


  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Public Relations, or related communications field. MBA in marketing a plus.
  • 7+ years of experience as a respected leader in multichannel B2B content creation
  • Proven editorial skills with both long-form content creation and real-time (immediate) content creation and distribution strategies and tactics
  • Experience managing creative resources
  • Fluency in web analytics tools (Google Analytics), social media marketing applications (HootSuite, Tweetdeck, etc.) and leading social media monitoring platforms
  • Project management experience and an understanding of how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders in a complex environment
