POSITION SUMMARY
The Temporary Admissions Assistant supports all Admissions Office, outreach, enrollment and student recruitment efforts at MHS by creating positive professional relationships and interactions with prospective students and parents of prospective students. The Temporary Admissions Assistant will oversee all department communication and events. He/she will build positive relationships with Maranatha students and families to help create a positive and welcoming community. He/she will report to the Dean of Admissions and will work closely with all academic areas of the school. This is a temporary position to be filled for the period of May 22, 2024 – October 30, 2024.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Not intended to be all-inclusive)
General responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
• Responsible to coordinate and oversee all Admissions events
• Represent Maranatha at high school fairs, middle school presentations and lunches families
• Provides campus tours to families, as needed
• Meets with drop-in families, as needed
• Assist in the development, maintenance and execution of the department’s communication plan to prospective and admitted students.
• Provide Christ-centered customer service to prospective and current school families (in person, on the phone, in email).
• Represent the Dean of Admissions in his absence
• Assist the Dean of Admissions in all areas; complete duties as assigned.

• Develop and maintain an excellent working relationship with other organizations, ensuring the school is well received and presented professionally and positively.
• Respect confidentiality of all personal and organizational information.
• Report to work on time. Work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Assist in other duties as needed and directed by the Dean of Admissions or Chief of Staff.
INTERACTION:
• Interact internally with faculty, staff, and students. Interact externally with parents, schools, and the community.
