Join one of the area’s top Business Technology Firms as we’re looking for our next Billing Specialist. We are seeking a motivated person with excellent billing and customer service skills, strong communication abilities, and, most importantly, someone who is ready to be part of a winning team.

 

You’ll work from our comfortable offices located in West Reading, PA and will be responsible for maintenance contract billing, meter collection, maintaining contract billing throughout the month within the parameters set by the contracts department, and completing all contract billing following month-end procedures.

 

The Billing Specialist Position:

  • Equipment meter collection, auditing, and billing for all customers
  • Building maintenance contracts within our system
  • Complete all billings for month-end reporting
  • Acquire knowledge of profitability within contracts
  • Support our sales teams with all contracts-related requests
  • Analyzing invoices for discrepancies and making corrections if need be
  • Promoting and utilizing the use of our automation tools for meter collection
  • Working with the Contracts team to ensure billing accuracy
  • Work with related departments on customer issues or implementation

Qualifications

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Required:

  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred
  • 3+ years’ experience in a related role
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of purchasing processes, policy, and systems
  • Have exceptional communication skills including listening and problem analysis
  • Pleasant and professional phone and email skills
  • Ability to follow a prescribed process
  • Accuracy when processing orders and double-checking work
  • Have sound judgment and ability to think on feet
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Follow-up on transactions until their completion
  • Ability to work the last week of the month unless in the most extreme circumstances
  • Organization and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time, ability to lift, push, and pull up to 30 pounds
  • Fast-paced, shared space, collaborative, open office space environment
  • Minimal travel, valid driver’s license required
