RIESTER is looking for a talented front-end web developer to join our ever-growing digital team. If you are passionate about semantic HTML and CSS and crave challenge, you may be a good fit. What’s that, you know JavaScript, the DOM and UX? Even better!
Our ideal candidate will work out of the Phoenix office, report to the Director of Digital, and coordinate with the web development team/account executives to execute interactive initiatives.
ABOUT YOU
· You love working closely with design teams to translate design comps into landing pages, mini sites and full sites in WordPress
· Juggling multiple projects/clients simultaneously is natural for you
· You keep up to date with the ever-changing world of developing. Wait, we’re on HTML 6 already?
· You know cross-browser issues and how to solve them (no IE6 OMG YAY!).
· You’re familiar with DOM Scripting with JavaScript and jQuery.
· Your friends might make fun of you for your rambles on MySQL, but you’re ok with it.
· You get excited talking about CSS3 properties, and how you knew about it before anyone else.
· You are handy with Photoshop, and your layers are clean. Who likes dirty layers, anyway?
· You know email markup tricks (ExactTarget, Campaign Monitor), not to cheat your work, but to work faster and more efficiently.
· You thrive on solving complex problems.
· Creative, high-quality solutions are all you deliver.
· You have a solid understanding of web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and Custom Search) and related analyses, but don’t like to brag
· Successful delivery of at least 5 projects and that’s on a slow week
· You know how to work with remote teams seamlessly and collaboratively
