As a Chemical Health Professional, you are responsible for counseling and case management services to women, primarily to pregnant women and women with dependent children, who are participating in chemical health treatment, family treatment, and recovery maintenance/continuing care. We are the only treatment center in the state that works with children up to age 17! From program entry to discharge, the clients key contact is the Chemical Health Professional. These services include outreach, needs assessment, planning and resource identification, service linkages, monitoring and ongoing reassessment, and client advocacy.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide treatment and support for pregnant and parenting women.
- Support women in their reunification process while in recovery.
- Coordinate, refer, connect your clients with employment services, health care, recovery support, Peer Mentor Program, and many other community partners.
- Facilitate educational and process groups while working with a dedicated team that has the same focus.
- Majority of direct client contact occurs in the treatment location.
