Sender One Climbing is looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, proactive Brand Marketing Manager to join our team! This is a company position and the ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about what they do and can lead all marketing efforts and brand strategy while working for a fast-growing company.
What You’ll Do:
- Have a deep understanding of gym level operations including Customer Experience (Full Service vs Bouldering Gym), Sender City, Yoga, Fitness, Youth Programs, and Groups & Parties
- Successfully deliver clear communication channels to gym operations and departments
- Have a deep understanding of Sender One’s brand image and a strong level of familiarity with climbing industry standards while being confident in communicating these elements
- Contribute constructive feedback, suggestions, and ideas as part of the Company Strategy Team
- Track conversions as a result of marketing efforts while proactively finding ways to improve marketing strategies
- Track spending and budget for the Brand Marketing Department
- Plan and organize yearly marketing calendars and budgets
- Become an expert at MailChimp, WordPress, Rock Gym Pro (RGP), Instagram, Facebook, digital advertising platforms, and additional software and programs used within Sender One
- Plan, develop, and maintain marketing strategies for the entire company while strengthening brand awareness
- Motivate, inspire, and support your staff’s success through guidance, mentorship, accountability, and development plans
- Lead marketing meetings and a monthly goal setting meeting
- Conduct individual weekly check-ins with the marketing team
- Oversee the following marketing functions and manage the respective staff: marketing/communications, content creation, branding, visual design, retail, events, community programs
- Develop marketing campaigns that aim to bring new guests into Sender One while engaging with the exciting community and building brand awareness
- Set and track goals for marketing campaigns and key department KPIs
- Stay updated with marketing and climbing industry trends
- Have a strong understanding and proficiency in managing the company's social media accounts, website content, content creation, digital ads, and be able to provide support when needed
- Manage agencies and contracted parties when needed
- Strengthen Sender One’s PR presence and maintain positive relationships with organizations, partners, and other groups we collaborate with
- Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, initiating corporate memberships, processing media requests, and overseeing the direction of a graphic designer
