Responsibilities

Writing: Write persuasive copy for digital ads, email marketing, print mailers and flyers, and website/landing pages.

Blog: Develop post ideas and research background material. With SEO best practices in mind, write educational and unique blog posts related to the mortgage and real estate industries.

Social Media: Source content, develop topics and creative concepts, and create captions for company LinkedIn page and multiple Facebook accounts. Help to create and implement social media strategy for multiple business accounts. Draft creative briefs for graphic designer and ad manager. Optimize and develop company LinkedIn page.

Email Marketing: Conduct informal market research and interview stakeholders to better understand industry trends and loan products. Write the copy for and conceptualize email marketing campaigns that speak directly to the pain points of existing and prospective customers. Format the final email in CRM.

Video: Create video scripts.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in advertising, marketing, journalism, or a related field
• At least four years of work experience as a content writer, copywriter, or similar role
• Experience writing for the financial industries and/or real estate industry
• Content creation, ad copy, email marketing and blog writing expertise
• Experience with email marketing journeys within a CRM platform including triggering events and timing delays
• Ability to modify voice and tone while working with several brands at once
• Demonstrable success building social media user engagement and leads
• An understanding of search engine optimization best practices
• Ability to work independently and manage own projects
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
• Agency experience strongly preferred but not required
• Proficiency in WordPress a plus
• HTML experience preferred
