Responsibilities:

  • More than just a technical expert, we view the primary job of the nursing leader as removing obstacles in order to provide excellent care to our patients.
  • Assumes responsibility and accountability for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team, and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the patient
  • Promotes the optimal health, well-being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act.
  • Demonstrates personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values.
  • 7pm - 7am Shift

 

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in nursing is required, Bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • A registered nurse in good standing in the state of Kansas.
  • The position requires full knowledge of the clinical and regulatory aspects of delivering ER, and acute nursing service to an array of patients.
