The Seasonal Technical Operations (Rides) employee is responsible for creating the best frictionless experience for our guests. This includes roles as Virtual Reality ticketing / seating / exiting guests within the experience, Carousel assistance, ticketing for camel rides / sluice assistance.  The ideal candidate is passionate about the Answers in Genesis attractions and serving others, enthusiastic, energetic, an excellent multi-tasker, and able and willing to fill or change positions quickly.  This position will allow one to impact others through a service mindset centered on making an eternal difference.  This position should display our Core Values of SERVE (Serve, Equip, Relate, Value, Engage) when interfacing with both internal and external guests to assure that the message and mission of Answers in Genesis is portrayed in an effective and God-honoring fashion.   The technical operations employee enhances the overall guest experience by relating and equipping guests in a unique, engaging way.  This position has a career path that will develop your spiritual and professional growth goals to achieve great results by tackling challenges while having fun along the way. 



  • Promote the Mission and Standards of Answers in Genesis  

  • Create a SERVE culture environment in all work done  

  • Provide excellent service to all guests by providing a best-in-class experience by engaging directly with guests to assist with product inquiries and transact purchases in a quick and efficient manner. 

  • Responsible for ensuring accurate pricing, tracking inventory, maintaining displays and cleanliness of the store, and re-stocking. 

  • And all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management 


  • Any combination of education or job-related experience that provides the required  

knowledge and abilities to perform tasks. 



  • Customer service oriented, dedicated to high guest satisfaction levels 

  • Good problem-solving skills and decision-making ability 

  • Ability to estimate and meet realistic deadlines, perform under pressure and react quickly to changing priorities 

  • Basic math skills: Accuracy in cash and financial transactions with guests 

  • Organizational skills and professionalism 

  • Must be able to stand, and move about, and assist guests throughout the entire length of the shift 

  • Perform duties in varied temperature and weather conditions throughout the attractions (e.g., extreme heat/cold, wind, rain, snow) 

  • Bend and lift between 25 and 50 pounds 

  • Punctual: arriving at workstations at the scheduled time
