Summary and Qualifications

Summary of Position

Based at the Alamance County Campus, this position is responsible for all weekend services and any additional production needs of the campus (e.g. special events, campus events, etc.). They will manage the development of teams, manage equipment and technical troubleshooting, and other production needs. This position is responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting and system maintenance, and leadership in concert with the Central Production Team.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Personal integrity and evidence of ongoing spiritual growth, as required of all church employees (church attendance, small group membership, tithing, etc).

  • Proficiency in equipment and software used for production at campus.

  • Ability to troubleshoot and fix production problems.

  • Strong organizational and team leadership skills.

  • A member of The Summit Church or willing & able to become a member.



  • Primary point person for planning and programming at the campus for services (for campus pastor, central support, etc).

    • Communicates with Campus Pastor and Worship Leader on all programming elements of the weekend services.

  • Recruiting, training, equipping, and empowering team and other team members to execute campus services.

    • Scheduling all volunteers and campus sound techs for all services and campus specific events

    • Planning Center maintenance for campus team.

    • Building, maintaining, fostering growth (both technical and spiritual/personal) of the campus production team.

  • Technical system maintenance and troubleshooting with central support.

    • Primary troubleshooting and repairs for campus AVL systems and gear across all rooms of the campus.

    • Advising central support on improvements that can be made to campus production systems and processes.

  • Owns campus special event processes for internal and external events.

    • Finds production techs, equips staff, or works event themselves

  • A part of the team that runs all major church-wide events.

  • Any and all other tasks necessary to accomplish the vision and mission of the Summit Church as assigned by the supervisor.
