What You'll Do 

The Human Resources Intern will support our team in ongoing activities including assisting with our onboarding program, presentation design, performance management, job descriptions, and other key HR functions.  You’ll work in a collaborative, fun environment with a team of passionate HR professionals and industry experts. 


Essential Functions May Include

  • Work with the HR team to enhance the employee onboarding experience, focusing on aligning it with company culture and goals. 
  • Create resources to support new hires during their onboarding journey, including materials for leadership and integration plans for their initial months. 
  • Research learning and development opportunities, outline LinkedIn Learning paths tailored to employee development needs. 
  • Review and enhance tools related to performance management to better align with organizational objectives and employee development. 
  • Participate in updating the employee handbook, aiming for improved clarity and precision in policies and guidelines. 
  • Shadow different HR functions such as recruitment, training, performance management, etc., to gain a comprehensive understanding of the HR lifecycle. 

What Makes You Successful


  • Current student or recent graduate pursuing an Associates or Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Basic knowledge of labor laws, HR practices and procedures


Minimum Qualifications

  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
  • Approaches projects with creativity and is willing to think outside of the box.
  • Demonstrates eagerness to learn, collaborate and contribute to team goals.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
  • High level of attention to detail/accuracy.
  • Must exercise discretion and confidentiality with sensitive company information.


Additional Information

  • This is a paid part-time internship position. Details of compensation will be discussed during the interview process.
  • The internship offers flexibility in scheduling, allowing for part-time hours to accommodate academic commitments.
