Responsibilities

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Running diagnostic tests on diesel engines and interpreting the results to offer suitable solutions
  • Inspecting vehicle systems, including suspensions, steering and exhausts
  • Repairing or replacing vehicle transmissions, brakes, engines, and other associated parts
  • Conducting field visits in the case of an emergency or sudden breakdown
  • Test driving repaired vehicles to gauge their performance
  • Completing oil changes, wheel balancing, alignment, and brake checks
  • Maintaining records of parts inventory and services vehicles
  • Other duties as required and assigned
Qualifications

Qualifications/Skills

  • 3+ Years of Lead Diesel Mechanic experience preferred
  • Experience with A/C and Electrical
  • Must be able to handle major repairs
  • Experience in both Tractor and Flatbed Trailer PMs and repairs
  • Computer literacy for Cummins InSite & Ford Software
  • Have the ability to lift 50lbs
  • Must Possess a valid Driver’s License w/ CLEAN Driving Record (CDL PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED)
  • Attention to accuracy and detail required
