Position Profile
Assembler 1 will perform assembly line tasks as directed by supervisor and Team Leaders.

What you'll do
Assemble BEGA fixtures by following specific work instructions.
Performs electrical tests as required on products.
Must have good interpersonal skills and have the ability to work in a team environment
Follows instructions of engineering drawings and Bills of Materials.
Requires long periods of standing in a lean manufacturing environment.
Overtime work may be required depending on the business needs.
Ability to lift-up to 50 lbs.
Maintain an organized and clean work area under company guidelines following 6s techniques.
Resolves quality issues, when possible with the help of cell work team.
Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance is required. May need to work variable schedule and additional hours, as necessary.
Other responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor and/or Team Leader.

Position Dimensions
Expected to keep pace with the cycle times and efficiency parameters set by the demand of the Cell.
Provides input for improvement of Cell or work area.
Shows willingness to help in other areas of assembly as needed.

Knowledge & Experience
Previous manufacturing/assembly experience preferred but not necessary.
Ability to communicate in English (Read, Write, Speak)
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Comfortable using a computer to access/view assembly drawings.
