Description

Family Practice Physician with OB is a full-time position responsible for fulfilling a vital role in the community by providing comprehensive health care to all ages; emphasizing preventative health practices and disease management. Family Practice Physician with OB applicants who are able to perform C-sections independently are preferred, but Coulee Medical Center is willing to train the right candidate. This position acts as the hub of the patient care team diagnosing and treating illness; providing routine examinations, referring to specialty services, and performing follow-up. In addition to providing quality patient care, the Family Practice Physician/Family Practice Physician with OB provides medical direction to clinic staff as well as providing oversight and consults for Allied Health Professional Providers. As part of a critical access hospital and rural health clinic, this position operates as support for the Emergency Department and Hospital.

 

Qualifications: M.D. or DO; Current license to practice medicine issued by the state of Washington; Certifications as outlined in the Medical Staff By-laws. Board Certified or Board eligible in Family Medicine. Graduate of accredited Family Medicine Residency Program.

Coulee Medical Center is a 25-bed Trauma Level IV Critical Access Hospital with a very important job: to serve the healthcare needs of our rural community with the best in patient care, medical expertise, and personalized service. Based out of our new state-of-the-art, 66,000-square-foot facility near the famous Grand Coulee Dam, we provide professional medical services to the residents and visitors of the greater Grand Coulee area, the five surrounding counties, and the nearby Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation. From sports physicals and well-baby visits, to the management of diabetes, high blood pressure, and bone and joint problems, the Coulee Family Medicine Clinic at Coulee Medical Center delivers a broad range of acute, chronic and preventive medical services including Family Practice, Obstetrics, Behavioral Health, General Surgery, Endocrinology, Registered Dietitian services, as well as a Monday-Friday Walk-In Clinic. The clinic's physicians, nurse practitioners and other professionals focus on the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of a variety of illnesses and medical problems to help lead our patients to a healthier life.

Salary Range: Guaranteed first-year base income: $281,451 (including contracted call). Along with a generous Sign-on/Retention bonus and Production bonus opportunity, relocation assistance, and educational loan reimbursement for those who qualify.
