The Family Wellness Child Watch Caregiver provides care for infants to 10 year olds in a drop-in childcare environment. This job is located at Family Wellness at 2700 46th Ave SE in Mandan.

• Be a role model
• Assure that children receive safe playtime, snacks, learning activities, diaper changing, and bathroom breaks
• Use appropriate disciplinary methods
• Observe children and communicate appropriately with parents
• Help maintain a clean, safe environment by completing cleaning duties as assigned.
• Attend and be an active participant at staff meetings

 Variety of Part Time Shifts Available, Up to 29 Hours Per Week:

• Tuesday, 8:25 am-10:30 am
• Monday-Thursday, 4:25 pm-7:30 pm
• Monday-Thursday, 5:00 pm-7:00 pm
• Saturday, 8:55 am-Noon

We are looking for someone who displays the values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. Previous experience working in a childcare or children's program preferred. Must have the ability to handle competing demands and effectively communicate and build relationships with parents.

Child Watch is a drop-in childcare program that provides members a safe, fun and supervised place for their children while they utilize the facility.

The Missouri Valley Family YMCA has more than 22,000 members, serving 1 in 5 households in the Bismarck-Mandan community. The Family Wellness location opened in Mandan near Raging Rivers Waterpark in January 2017.
