Position Overview:

We are seeking a strategic, detailed-oriented, and charismatic Implementation Director to support the foundation of the client journey and continual innovation at our organization; this role will report to the SVP of Client Success and Implementation. Global responsibilities will include both executive strategic oversight and tactical operational project support/guidance for all new client installs and optimization projects. This role will also be responsible for delivering optimization projects and system conversions with existing clients or same-store growth.

The Director of Implementation will be responsible for planning and executing account intelligence gathering, account engagement, reputation/brand support, sales enablement, and project support with our Revenue Cycle partners/vendors. The role will collaborate with cross-functional departments/teams including Marketing, Business Development executives/support team, Client Success, Engineering, Product, IT, Data, and PAC teams at AccessOne. A communication and experience skillset including project management, lean, and problem-solving skills to augment/troubleshoot client builds/issues with internal/external resources will be critical for the success of this role. Long-term strategy for the role will also include building a lean and dynamic team of implementation managers to support increased project scope.

This is a hybrid position. This position can be remote but will require travel and some in office requirements.

What you can expect:

  • Develop and manage implementation/optimization project plans to meet the needs of clients, supporting all tactical deliverables for implementation/optimization projects.
  • Provide and manage scope, timeline, and risk assessment with key stakeholders; also provide executive steering reporting on key initiatives.
  • Support all internal/external project resources with onboarding/innovation
  • Evolve current implementation documentation and workflows (project plans, service manuals, technical documents, etc.), and add new tools/docs to enhance onboarding.
  • Utilize PM and Lean skills to reduce existing implementation footprint.
  • Utilize effective problem-solving skills to overcome both internal and external challenges.
  • Provide SME support in technical sales support with scoping projects or developing proposals.
  • Support Client Success with strategic goal setting and client transition.
  • Promote provider-based research to develop white papers case studies etc
  • Develop a department and grow a team of implementation/optimization managers

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent in a technical, business, or financial discipline.

Bonus points for:

  • Continued education is preferred
  • PM and /or lean certification is preferred
  • Specific expertise with Healthcare Revenue Cycle; 5+ years preferred
