ImagineSoftware is growing our software product offerings for our client base, and we are inviting a Scrum Master to come join us! The Scrum Master will coach, develop, and educate our software development team to apply the Scrum framework and ensure the highest-quality software gets released to our customers. Essential Duties   

• Responsible for facilitating the agile process on high-impact scrum teams working through complex epics, features, and stories.  

• Facilitates and is accountable for owning the Scrum Agile meetings for the scrum teams.  

• Guides the scrum teams and the organization to embrace Agile.  

• Follows generally accepted Agile/Scrum practices and daily activities to actively promote prioritization, team readiness, and commitment for each Sprint.  

• Uses empirical data to help the team(s) analyze and understand their Scrum Maturity, help optimize scrum team velocity, and identify improvement opportunities to achieve the highest levels of team performance.  

• Proactively address impediments to team agility and guides the team(s) on escalation methods when needed to prevent challenges from becoming blockers.  

• Coaches scrum team(s) on Agile practices while also following the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), business process mapping, and various release processes as appropriate to ensure all risk, security, and development requirements are met.  

• Partners with Product Owners to ensure continuous refinement of the product backlog, including stories from multiple projects.  

• Partners with Product owners, Program, or Project Managers to communicate delivery of work product from the scrum team and escalates key risks and issues impeding scrum team effectiveness.  

• Works on interdepartmental process improvement initiatives that work towards department and company and company vision and mission.  

Education and/or Experience Needed   

• BS/BA in Computer Science or Business-related degree  

• 1+ years of Scrum related experience  

• Exposure to Agile methodologies and practices  

Qualifications You Must Have

• Strong experience with Agile methodology including Scrum Master Certification (CSM) or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) Certification.

• Expert negotiator and facilitator skills to navigate through conflict resolution and find solutions that work for all parties.  

• Adept at problem-solving; strong time management and task prioritization skills.  

• Adept at teaching and coaching, and the ability to explain the how and the why to those involved.  

• Excels at adapting to changing business needs with the ability to balance multiple competing priorities in an extremely fast-paced environment.  

• Excellent relationship and team building with the ability to proactively navigate complexities of gaining buy-in and driving collaboration.  

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability.  

• Listens to understand, not just reply.  

• Experience with Azure DevOps.  

• Ability to work independently, with little supervision.  

• Ability to multitask work on multiple projects and/or other tasks for the team.
