About the Job

We are looking for a passionate HR Generalist who is excited to support our growing company and HR department, have a positive impact on our employees, and serve an active role in providing an exceptional employee experience. As an HR Generalist, you will support the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department, with a focus on employee relations, for our growing team across four studio locations and including remote employees. You will be committed to the HR departments purpose: supporting Delve's most valuable resource our people.

 

This position is for a hybrid/office-based candidate out of our Madison, Wisconsin studio. You can expect occasional travel to our other studios.

  • Maintain and support an inclusive and welcoming environment, built upon equitable processes and an increasingly diverse workforce.
  • Facilitate a smooth new hire onboarding process, coordinating schedules, preparing paperwork, and collaborating with cross-functional departments to deliver an exceptional employee experience.
  • Build relationships with employees through the onboarding process and employee check-ins to foster an open and inviting environment.
  • Create and support employee recognition/engagement opportunities and programs, identify and highlight topics of employee interest, and foster a link between our culture initiatives and the HR department.
  • Support the performance management process by participating in new employee check-ins and the annual review process, with a focus on goal setting and identifying training and development opportunities for our employees.
  • Handle inquiries about company policies, compensation, career development, and other employee relations matters, referring complex or sensitive topics to the appropriate HR staff and management.
  • Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of the employee handbook, and contribute to the development and evolution of policies.
  • Perform routine tasks to support HR processes, including but not limited to coaching or advising related to employee development, addressing performance and interpersonal issues, and conducting internal investigations.
  • Support the HR department with general immigration questions and assist with visa processing needs (preparing paperwork, posting internal notices, maintaining records, etc).
  • Review, track, and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training such as safety training, anti-harassment training, or certifications.
  • Understand our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and our approach to following through with it in the full employee life cycle. Actively collaborate and support advancing our firms approach and continuously improve our ability to deliver on our emerging DEI strategy.
  • Provide meaningful feedback and input on our recruiting processes and benefits programs and provide backup support for recruiting, benefits, HRIS, and payroll, as needed.
About You

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience working as an HR professional.
  • Familiar with employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • You possess strong ethics and can maintain uncompromised confidentiality for sensitive employee information.
