What You'll Do 

The Brand Ambassador plays a vital role in developing and executing effective sales strategies to increase the sales volume and overall brand presence of GameGenic, CMON, AMG, and FFG titles. They establish close working relationships with the studio, retailers, the inside sales team, and other key stakeholders to achieve this. This enables them to identify market needs and trends and leverage this knowledge to place products in new and existing accounts. The primary objective is to assist the inside sales team in achieving sales targets and finding opportunities for growth through various strategic initiatives. Additionally, the Ambassador influences inventory and procurement decisions to maximize sales efforts. 

 

Essential Functions 

  • Develop and execute comprehensive selling strategies to maximize revenue and profitability within the hobby sales sector. 
  • Set and achieve sustainable revenue targets through effective sales planning and execution. 
  • Establish and run sales training clinics with the inside sales team. 
  • Coordinate and post sales in-store events to drive product awareness and engagement. 
  • Lead promotional initiatives to increase brand visibility and drive online and in-store sales. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop assortment planning strategies that align with market trends and customer preferences. 
  • Manage the successful launch of new products, including coordinating marketing efforts, ensuring adequate inventory levels, and monitoring performance post-launch. 
  • Optimize inventory turns through effective inventory management practices and proactive planning. 
  • Provide regular reporting and analysis on sales performance, market trends, and competitive insights to inform strategic decision-making. 
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conventions to build relationships and promote our brand within the hobby community. 

What Makes You Successful

Education/Experience

  • One to three years of sales and/or customer service experience, preferred but not required.
  • Basic computer knowledge and experience with standard office software is necessary.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Demonstrated proficiency in both written and verbal communication.
  • Strong, active listening abilities.
  • Ability to conduct independent research and explain diverse product lines with ease.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with great attention to detail.
  • Capability to collaborate effectively with other teams and individuals.
  • A pleasant demeanor that makes customers feel valued and respected.
  • Demonstrated ability to overcome objections.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time, sometimes on short notice.
