What We're Looking For:

The Social Media Specialist I will be a part of the smaller Content Team on the Creative Services Team. They will work closely with the Sr. Social Media Specialist to keep all social media activity at Outlook running smoothly. This will include researching the latest trends in social media marketing, writing social post copy, monitoring social chatter, scheduling social content across all platforms, among other tasks. They will also work closely with the Editor to help with overflow tasks. This includes updating WordPress tags and keeping content calendar organized. This person should be very detailed oriented, energetic, creative, well written, fast learner, and a team player.


This position is eligible to work 100% remote in CA, TX, or NV.



  • Stay on top of the latest and greatest social media trends
  • Help ideate new ways to use content i.e., TikTok, videos
  • Write copy for social media posts
  • Fill out social media asset requests
  • Help schedule Pinterest, Twitter, and Instagram posts through our social media management tool, Sprout Social, for all brands
  • Help monitor social media outlets and engage with followers for all brands
  • Help fill out newsletter email outline
  • Upload videos to YouTube

  • 1+ years of social media marketing experience
  • Must be experienced in using social media platforms for business (i.e. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, Pinterest, YouTube)
  • Must have excellent writing skills


  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience in Data Analytics platforms (i.e. Google Analytics) a plus but not required
  • Familiar with Airtable and Sprout Social a plus but not required
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
