Compensation: $40.45 - $55.15, DOE
Job Summary: 12-hour shift (Day & Night shifts available)
Department Description: The Emergency Department welcomes all patients with a wide variety of medical conditions ranging from non-critical to emergent medical needs. Emergency Department staff are certified to care for critical patients including trauma and children. The Registered Nurse (RN) provides safe, age-appropriate, direct and indirect patient care utilizing the nursing process within the Oregon State Board of Nursing’s scope of practice.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with diverse population from pediatrics to geriatrics. General understanding of age-related differences in caring for all patients and possess personal sensitivity to the needs and experiences of others with a non-judgmental attitude.
- Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks and appropriately adapt to diverse and high-risk situations to offer the best possible care to patients.
- Ability to manage time in an organized fashion, planning and prioritizing work in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
