Job Title: CT/XR Technologist

Compensation: $33.24-$50.00+,DOE

Job Summary: Full-time, No call. PRN with minimum availability of 1 shift per week required, Full Time will be a 4 10.

 

Department Description: We are a close-knit, busy, small radiology department serving the Santiam Canyon area. We have a Philips 64 Ingenuity CT, DR X-Ray and Fluoro as well as large and small C-arms. Expected skill sets include general surgery and ortho C-arm use, general and ortho specific X-ray imaging, fluoro studies and CT studies including CTAs. We do not perform fluoro procedures in CT or complex IR cases. Our patient caseload is primarily outpatient for X-ray and outpatient/ER for CT. We are mid-transition to EPIC EHR. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a stable, upbeat, team oriented, personable radiology department, where the barista and cafeteria staff know your name!

 

Responsibilities:

Perform CT and X-ray studies for inpatients, outpatients, and emergency department patients.

Follow department and hospital policy and procedure for performance of exams, including, but not limited to, scheduling, ordering, exam completion, charging, confidentiality, computer entry.

Strive to increase quality of patient care and patient satisfaction.

Complete procedures and all documentation in a timely manner.

Operate specialized equipment including, but not limited to, CT scanners, X-Ray equipment, Injectors and patient monitors, teleradiology workflows and PACS

Qualifications

Qualification/Education/Requirements:

Knowledge of CT and X-ray positioning and procedures.

Accredited School of Radiography: Associate’s degree minimum.

2 years’ experience preferred. New grads encouraged to apply.

Certifications Required: ARRT, OBMI Licensure, BLS
