Wage: $18-20/hour + benefits (Full-time, Monday – Friday)

Reports to: Program Manager for MLT Apprenticeship Program

Job Summary: Santiam Hospital received a grant from the Bureau of Labor and Industries (BOLI) for a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) Apprenticeship Program.The administrative assistant will provide comprehensive support to the outreach coordinator, program manager, and fund development coordinator for the MLT apprenticeship program in a fast-paced, nonprofit environment. This position is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the office and for providing administrative support to the team. The successful candidate must be able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide administrative support to the outreach coordinator, program manager, and fund development coordinator.

2. Manage and maintain the calendars of the team members, including scheduling meetings and coordinating appointments.

3. Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documents as needed.

4. Coordinate logistics for events, including room reservations, catering, and materials.

5. Assist in the management of social media and website updates.

6. Process and track expenses for the team members.

7. Assist in the preparation of grant proposals and reports.

8. Perform general office duties, including answering phones, managing office supplies, and filing.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent required

· Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative support role.

· Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Detail-oriented and able to prioritize tasks efficiently

This is a full-time, grant-funded position with an expected duration of 1 year, with the possibility of extension based on performance and funding availability.
