We are seeking a Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to enhance our healthcare team of innovated leaders.

Santiam Hospital & Clinics is an independent, not-for-profit, 40 bed acute-care community-based hospital with 13 clinics across 8 specialties settled in the foothills of the Cascades serving many recreational sites as well as agricultural communities. Compensation: Competitive salary and benefits. CME reimbursement, paid malpractice, generous time paid off, employer contributions to retirement plans, sign-on bonus, and relocation assistance.

Job Summary: Full-time 1.0 FTE, 32-36 hours of clinical patient care per week, with attendant administrative time and tasks.

Department Description: Our system includes several RHC-designated primary care clinics, and several specialty clinics. Patients have a choice among a diverse group of providers who share a common goal of caring for the people of our communities. Santiam Hospital and Clinics is a nonprofit based in Stayton, Oregon and serves the surrounding communities and the Santiam Canyon, with easy access to everything Oregon offers: snow-covered mountains, coastal beaches, wineries & breweries, the Willamette Valley, and vibrant local communities.

Responsibilities:
The successful candidate can expect to care for a spectrum of primary care concerns on a given day, seeing a panel of families and individuals through both chronic illnesses and acute concerns. The provider is the anchor of an integrated clinical team, including medical assistants, behavioral health clinicians, community health workers, and others. The successful candidate may be flexible in providing care across our clinic system, working with multiple colleagues from week to week, or may be located in a home clinic.

Qualifications

Qualification/Education/Requirements:

  • Active Licensed PA or NP in the state of Oregon
  • Current DEA License
  • 2 or more years of experience, preferably in rural community medicine
