Marketing Coordinator

As the Marketing Coordinator at Participate Learning, you will be in charge of supporting and implementing strong and effective marketing initiatives to increase sales and brand awareness of Participate Learning’s products. Additionally, you will leverage your knowledge of digital advertising and marketing analytics to support the Marketing team by developing reports on campaigns that attract new leads and deliver results for the organization.

The Marketing Coordinator will support collaboration across departments to craft messaging, communications, and report on outcomes related to marketing campaigns. You should be able to effectively communicate with the entire marketing team, understand ROI, and demonstrate the correlation between Marketing and Design initiatives and outcomes. 

Responsibilities 

  • Help in maintaining an interdepartmental editorial calendar for developing/repurposing content and tracking ongoing external communications efforts.

  • Assist in the creation and organization of email communications to our various audiences, focused on both user acquisition and relationship maintenance/advocacy.

  • Research and ideate new ways to engage and reach our target audiences.

  • Support blogging process, from developing relevant topics, creating an outline, copy editing, and finalizing according to departmental procedures and standards.

  • Facilitate online competitor research.

  • Report on the performance of digital marketing campaigns

  • Assist with the development and scheduling of digital advertising on social channels

  • Assist with social media channel management and social listening

  • Create and maintain reports on marketing and sales activities

  • Use analytics and insights to better profile, target, and retarget prospects

  • Work collaboratively and effectively with the team

  • Support audit of existing collateral to ensure brand alignment

  • Help in maintaining the Participate Learning web store and its inventory.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 2+ years of marketing and/or communication experience preferred

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills, with an ability to use data to inform decisions

  • Advanced writing and editing skills 

  • An analytical mind and interest in using data to optimize/scale marketing activities

  • Highly organized and efficient, with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and follow directions

  • Must be able to work in a collaborative, fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment

  • Professional, cooperative, and positive attitude

  • Passion for and a strong understanding of the education industry and our mission

  • Marketing automation software experience preferred

  • Basic HTML knowledge

  • Experience with social media tools and measurements

  • Experience with Wordpress, Google Suite, and Google Analytics/Adwords

  • Drive to learn, develop skills and grow as a professional and motivate others

Occasional travel may be required.
