Summary of Position:

The scrum master role leads ceremonial meetings that are part of the Scrum process for software development. This includes the daily stand-up, refinement, stakeholder demos and retrospectives. The scrum master works with each of our software development teams to provide a consistent process that eliminates hurdles and impediments to the software development life cycle.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Create an appropriate Scrum workflow and collaborate with the team to iterate the workflow on a regular basis
  2. Facilitate ceremonial Scrum meetings for each software team
  3. Track progress and help team to achieve their commitments
  4. Work closely with the Product Owners to determine business value and delivery timelines
  5. Collaborate with the team in scheduling work
  6. Remove impediments allowing team to focus on development tasks


Organizational Relationship:

Reports to the Vice President of Software and Experience.


Working Conditions: This is a full-time position that requires you to work from our main office in McKinney, Monday through Friday. Additional hours may be worked as needed but need to be pre-approved by direct supervisor. This position may require travel, both domestic and international.


Skills and Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelors (preferred)
  • 2+ year(s) as a Scrum Master
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Jira Administrator Experience (preferred)
  • US Work Authorization
