Summary of Position:

Works closely with the stakeholders, product owners and software developers to understand the desired outcome of a feature enhancement or tweak. They are the advocate for quality at all stages of the software development life cycle. When appropriate, testing and quality assurance practices should be automated.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Develop a playbook for quality assurance practices that line up with the software development life cycle of our team(s)
  2. Implement an automated testing procedure
  3. Participate in the planning and progress of new features and systems being developed by the software development teams
  4. Oversee testing procedures
  5. Track and manage a repository for defects and resolutions


Organizational Relationship:

Reports to the Vice President of Software and Experience


Working Conditions: This is a full-time position that requires you to work from our main office in McKinney, Monday through Friday. Additional hours may be worked as needed but need to be pre-approved by direct supervisor. This position may require travel, both domestic and international.



Skills and Educational Requirements:

  • Experiencing building or leading a team of QA staff
  • 2-4 years experience testing software, including SaaS applications
  • Solid understanding of QA practices
  • Experience writing automated tests
  • Detail oriented
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience working as/with product owners, business analysts and/or stakeholders
