ORBAs growing Business Valuation practice is searching for a high-level individual to manage our valuation practice. The team is involved in valuation services for:

  • Income tax
  • Estate and gift tax
  • Merger & Acquisition planning
  • Marital dissolution and shareholder disputes

The Business Valuation Director will:

  • Oversee all business valuation engagements and sign off on all issued reports
  • Become a thought leader in the valuation area through attendance and leadership roles in professional societies
  • Manage, train and mentor staff
  • Evaluate and update existing policies and procedures
  • Review and upkeep of engagement letters, research tools and other aspects of the practice
  • Establish guidelines for acceptance of new engagements
  • Develop internal and external training and education programs
  • Write client focused and technical newsletters and articles

Additional Requirements & skills:

  • CPA with certifications in valuation or related areas
  • 5 years of valuation experience
  • Ability to handle valuation process from start to finish
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a rapidly growing, fast-paced and results-oriented environment
  • Strong leadership, training, coaching and mentoring skills
  • Outstanding written, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Excellent analytical and technical, skills
  • High level of understanding of the litigation process and experience providing testimony (preferred)
