  • Reporting to the Vice President of Enrollment Management, the Director is responsible for the leadership, administration and operations of the Office of Admissions (undergraduate and transfer enrollment). Areas of responsibility in this position include including management of all functional and organizational aspects of short- and long-term recruitment strategies and planning.
  • Oversee and assess the training of admission staff as it relates student recruitment, territory and prospect management, and customer service.
  • Reviews goals and performance with Admissions Counselors.
  • Provide leadership, development, supervision, and evaluation of the Admissions Office team.
  • Continuously monitor, evaluate, and reports on enrollment.
  • Assessing Admissions funnel as it relates to prospect and inquiry management, application generation, and yield to ensure the University meets enrollment goals.
  • Plan and execute all on-campus and off- campus undergraduate recruitment events
  • Works collaboratively with other university offices for new student recruitment purposes (i.e. Academics Divisions and Schools, Athletics, Academic Advisors, Financial Aid, Student Affairs, and Registrar).
  • Oversees and reviews admissions decisions as determined by the admissions standards and policies.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Operations and Vice President of Marketing to create communication strategies that will effectively promote programs including direct mail, digital advertising, Social Media, emails, etc.
  • Oversees budgets for each territory, including all recruitment travel, programming, and professional development for the department.
  • Manages SEARCH at the undergraduate admissions level, maintains purchase schedule and coordinates communication.

Required Experience:

  • A professional background in higher education (7+ years)
  • Masters degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Supervisory and/or management experience required.
  • Preferred experience with mainframe systems Banner (SIS) and Salesforce (CRM)
  • Requires schedule flexibility including some evening and weekend events
  • Requires some off campus work such as high school and college visits.
