Position Overview:

AccessOne is a leading provider of flexible, co-branded patient financing solutions. Founded by providers, our solution provides a consumer-focused experience which drives high patient satisfaction for our clients. We have helped over one million consumers afford out-of-pocket medical expenses for health systems nationwide.

We have an immediate need for a Software Engineer to be a part of our Sustaining Engineering team. This opportunity is remote-eligible from the Eastern, Central or Mountain time zones in the United States. It can also be based out of our headquarters in Fort Mill, SC.

What you can expect:

• Design, build, deploy new application enhancements and support existing applications and services for our platform and research, debug and fix complex Production environment issues
• Proactive communication with team members, SME, project management for requirements, issues, etc.
• Collaborate on a cross-functional product team to refine requirements, estimate user stories, tickets.
• Review Pull Requests, ensuring AccessOne Engineering standards and best practices are followed

What you bring:

• 3+ years of object-oriented programming experience using C#, .NET/.NET Core, MVC framework, JavaScript, jQuery, WebAPI, Entity Framework, SQL Server, Git, Agile methodology, Kanban, JIRA issue/user story tracking and agile project management
• Strong knowledge of common software design patterns, and best practices
• Ability to write clean, high quality, performant code with good test coverage
• Passion for continuous learning, and training
• Candidate must possess strong technical, analytical, problem solving, written and verbal skills and work independently
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, or equivalent work experience

Bonus points for:

• SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
• MySQL and/or PHP
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks
• Understanding of Identity Server, OAuth2, OpenID Connect
• Healthcare or FinTech experience
• Azure or AWS Certification
