Position Summary:

To safely and efficiently operate forklift in loading and unloading package trucks, draught trucks, and transport vehicles; to hand-stack product on pallets according to package type and quantity; Fill and replenish racks in pick area to support the Builders, to fill in building when needed, to maintain the cleanliness of the warehouse and equipment; to stage and park tractor/trailers for loading and unloading; to load built pallets on trucks when needed; and to repackage damage product and rotate product as necessary.

Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Load package trucks per load sheet.
  • Hand stack product and build pallets per standards when needed.
  • Load pallets onto trailers using electric forklifts.
  • Unload and load draught vehicles using forklifts along with the assistance of the Service Rep.
  • Unload transport vehicles using forklifts and stage in warehouse.
  • Keep floor in pick area clean and replenish racks for Builders as need.
  • Stage and park tractor trailers for loading when needed.
  • Clean warehouse and equipment according to standards.
  • Maintain and inspect equipment according to standards.



  • Work constructively through teams or other appropriate channels to improve the warehouse processes.
  • Perform all functions in a professional manner.
  • Promote a safe working environment.
  • Abide by all policies and procedures as set forth by Daytona Beverages.
  • Complete all training required of the Warehouse Department and all other warehouse activity as determined by management.
  • Other duties as assigned by Management.

  • May occasionally be required to walk; sit; handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop; talk; or hear.
  • Able to lift/carry 165 lbs. occasionally (less than 33% of the time or 1-100 times per day)
  • Able to lift/carry 33 lbs. frequently (34%-66% of the time or 100-500 times per day)
  • Able to push a maximum force of 20 ft./lbs.
  • Able to pull a maximum force of 20 ft./lbs.
  • Able to frequently work in a cold environment (below 40 degrees)

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent including basic math skills - adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing

Ability to perform strenuous physical activity. 2 years previous forklift/warehouse experience (preferred). Forklift certified (preferred).
