Aphena Pharma Solutions is a dynamic pharma solutions provider focused on contract packaging, repackaging and manufacturing for the pharmaceutical, OTC, dietary supplement, animal health and medical device marketplaces.
Responsibilities:
- Determine the most effective means for an organization to use capital, equipment, energy, facilities, information, material, people, and other assets to make a product or service.
- Plans utilization of facilities, equipment, materials, and personnel to improve efficiency of operations.
- Studies product or service and its requirements, using mathematical methods such as operations research, to meet those requirements and design manufacturing.
- Designs management control systems to aid in financial planning and cost analysis.
- Reviews functional statements, organization charts, and project information to determine functions and responsibilities of workers and work units and to identify areas of duplication.
- Recommends methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities, such as restructuring job duties, reorganizaing work flow, relocating workstations and equipment, and purchase of equipment. Plans layout to provide maximum possible operating efficiency.
- Studies sequence of operations to be performed and flow of business and materials.
- Establishes work measurement programs and analyzes work samples to develop standards for labor utilization.
- Analyzes work force utilization, facility layout, and operational data, such as production costs, process flowcharts, and production schedules, to determine efficient utilization of workers and equipment.
- Confers with management and engineering to implement plans and recommendations.
- Partners with management and executive team to develop and maintain lean practices as well as train and mentor teams to drive Kaizen events, Cost Savings, and Process Improvement projects.
- May travel to other plants to identify, recommend, and implement manufacturing process improvements.
