Title: Development Coordinator

 

Reports to: Chief Development Officer (CDO)

 

Overview of Position: The Development Coordinator will be an integral part of the team at Resource Center. This position will support all aspects of fundraising including but not limited to, individual donors, event fundraising and fundraising operations.

 

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Manage administrative duties for pledges and membership programs
  • Assist with all digital fundraising campaigns
  • Manage donor stewardship calendar
  • Support peer to peer fundraising programs
  • Coordinate fundraising mailings
  • Coordinate and manage fundraising volunteers as needed
  • Provide administrative support all committee/team meetings with scheduling, agendas and minutes
  • Provide support development operations including: data entry, deposits, fund allocation, expense management, donor acknowledgements
  • Support all committee/team meetings with scheduling, agendas and minutes

 

Job Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or experience in lieu of education
  • 1-2 years of non-profit or administrative  experience
  • Proficiency in databases such as (Abila, Blackbaud, or similar), MS Office, project management software such as (Trello, Asana, or similar), internal communication tools
  • Acute attention to detail and deadlines
  • Highly organized
  • Ability to anticipate needs, solve complex problems, and work independently
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic, and changing work environment
  • Must be able to work in a diverse environment
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Positive attitude and commitment to the success of the team
  • Must have a valid license and reliable transportation
  • Must be able to lift 15lbs
  • Must be able to frequently work nights and weekends
