Full Time
  • Analyze customer and manufacturer demand and develop short-term and long-term overall demand plan across all regions reviewing accuracy and making adjustments as needed
  • Fully understand key planning parameters (minimum order quantity requirements, batch quantities, container load configurations, manufacturer lead-time, transportation lead time, supply reliability, demand variability, seasonality etc.)
  • Develop accurate, automated Demand Planning report across all customers and manufacturers
  • Drive monthly demand review and adjustments with manufacturers, pivot to back-up manufacturers in case of supply issues while maintaining accuracy in the demand plan
  • Review historical purchase history, sales history and identify gaps
  • Meet with management to review short- and long-term planning strategies, schedule forecast review meetings with management on a regular basis
  • Identify demand forecast risks and develop effective mitigation plans in a timely and effective manner
  • Develop routine and ad-hoc demand related reports for management
  • Work with Director of Logistics & Director of Purchasing to plan, coordinate and execute demand planning activities
  • Collaborate with Sales, Purchasing, Logistics and Finance to obtain and ensure that current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts
  • Communicate directly with Manufacturers ensuring supplier agreements are upheld

Minimum Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of working experience as a Demand and Supply Planning Manager
  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Financial Planning, Statistics or relevant education
  • Demonstrated proficiency in statistics, data analysis, forecast and forecasting methods with understanding of their financial and operational impacts
  • Strong analytical, organizational, decision making and presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are also essential to effectively interact with all teams, areas and levels of business affecting the forecast process.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Be efficient with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Excel

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience with SAP Software preferred
  • Relevant industry experience a plus.
  • Interest in International Trade and Global Affairs.
