- This position requires a demonstration of knowledge and competency in nursing practice. Medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred. Duties include lecture/theory courses, supervision of first- and second-year nursing students in clinical settings, assisting with instruction of basic nursing skills, and participating in simulation lab activities
- Must be able to effectively perform individually or as a member of a team.
- Must be able to convey ideas that facilitate learning.
Required Education and Experience
- A master’s degree in nursing or a baccalaureate degree in nursing and master’s or doctoral degree in a related field is preferred, with relevant teaching and nursing experience related to the teaching assignment. A baccalaureate degree in nursing may be considered, depending on relevant teaching and nursing experience.
- Must hold and retain unencumbered Oregon Registered Nurse license.
- Must have the equivalent of a minimum of three years of full-time patient care experience at the registered nurse level.
- Document competency in teaching through experience, educational preparation, or continuing education.
- Must meet qualifications set forth by the Oregon State Board of Nursing.

Salary: Per Faculty contract salary scale
