Description

Summary:

The Project Assistant will support the sales and marketing department through the coordination and execution of key initiatives. The position is responsible for supporting industry partnerships, corporate partnerships, and all tradeshows.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 

    1. Develop and design marketing and sales materials for industry and corporate partnerships. This includes presentations, brochures, press releases, and email templates that support key initiatives.
    2. Work with marketing team to update materials on website/social media, to ensure content is up to date for every partnership.
    3. Coordinate materials needed for state events, and work with local agency to confirm logistics.
    4. Prepare presentations for existing and new accounts.
    5. Manage trade shows - including booth selection, registration, travel, logistics, materials, merchandising, and budgeting.
    6. Monitor and Maintain Project Management Platform for all Sales and Marketing Projects (partnership projects and trade shows)
    7. Other duties may be assigned by Manager or Supervisor
Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, sales or related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in similar role in marketing or sales
  • Ability to take initiative and think outside of the box
  • Ability to generate and edit documents and materials for accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and conflicting deadlines in a timely manner
  • Excellent at developing content and preparing PowerPoints
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and be extremely organized
  • Demonstrated ability to represent the company in a professional manner
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to collaborate and function as an effective team member
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to ensure confidentiality

Skills

  • Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Office, Publisher, on-line surveys)
  • Project Management Software (Trello, Wrike, etc.)
  • Self-directed – takes initiative and anticipates needs
  • High energy / Learner
