Kids Associate - Apex

Summary of Position

The Kids Associate for the Apex Campus would work alongside the Kids team to partner with families to raise a generation for Christ. This position would include logistical oversight, execution, and follow-up for Summit Kids training, classes, and events. It would also include curriculum oversight and classroom environment management.

• Spiritually mature

• Self-starter with the capacity to meet self-imposed and team-imposed deadlines

• Good leadership and people skills

• A team player willing to do what is best for the gospel, The Summit Church and the Summit Kids ministry

• Member of Summit Church or willing and able to become a member

Responsibilities

• Provide logistical oversight, execution, and follow-up for Summit Kids training, classes, and events at the Apex Campus.

  • Make calendar requests

  • Training

    • Prep materials for training and ensure room is set up

    • Follow up with onboarding leaders

    • Request name tags

    • Prepare welcome packages for new leaders

  • Classes

    • Prep materials for classes and training

    • Follow up with parents after Parent Commissioning Orientation and Gospel & Baptism Class.

    • Assist in scheduling families for Parent Commissioning and Baptism

    • Provide follow up

  • Events

    • Help promote, plan, and prepare for campus and Kids events

    • Collaborate with Student ministry as needed (Launch Weekend, Family Worship Night, etc.)

• Maintain classroom environments and distribute Summit Kids curriculum

  • Check classrooms following weekend services to ensure a clean and user-friendly environment

  • Ensure leaders have the curriculum and materials needed to have a successful weekend

• Attend both Apex and Central Summit Kids meetings as needed and appropriate
