Minimum Qualifications:
- Candidates must pass a background check, drug screen and physical
- Valid, unrestricted driver’s license
- High school diploma and two years of college or relevant experience in IT
- Ability to work with users in a professional and positive manner – written, orally, and by phone
- Strong troubleshooting ability
- Knowledge of computer hardware (Dell, HP, Lenovo)
- Knowledge of mobile device hardware and software (Apple iOS)
- Knowledge of enterprise software and cloud services (Microsoft Windows 10, Server 2019, Office 365)
- Basic knowledge of networking hardware (Cisco, Juniper, Meraki) and concepts
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in public safety
- IT related certifications (Microsoft, Cisco, VMware)
- Knowledge of public safety radio systems (Motorola or Kenwood)
- Knowledge of in-vehicle computing (ruggedized computers, Cradlepoint modems)
- Desire to keep current on computing technologies
Compensation and benefits:
- Compensation depending on experience ($45,000-55,000/year)
