Quality Systems Specialist - Organ

LifeShare is hiring a Quality Systems Specialist Organ I who is dedicated to our mission; this position is essential to reviewing donor information in order to continue our work to save lives. The Quality Systems Specialist Organ I will enjoy a hybrid work model that includes in office and at home. This position is responsible for:

• Conducting compliance review of organ donor charts for accuracy and completeness to include review of the Electronic Medical Record.
• Utilizing applicable policies, procedures, and internal guidelines when reviewing documentation and when communicating with staff.
• Retrieval, review, and reporting of donor specific data as indicated internally and as required by regulatory agencies.
• Experience working with continuous process improvement methodologies, tools, and concepts.

• Previous experience in a Quality Assurance, clinical (to include Licensed Practical Nurse or EMT/Paramedic), related health care field, or Bachelors degree in biological sciences preferred.
• Previous experience and knowledge related to medical terminology and confidential records management within a regulated field required. Knowledge of various disease processes and human physiology preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
• Task oriented, strong attention to detail required.
