Job Description

Human-I-T is a mission-driven provider of ITAD services for businesses and corporations of all sizes. Were seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking Senior Business Development Executive to grow and manage a book of technology donors, clients, and partners for our ITAD, e-waste, and related services. Previous experience with electronics hardware sales, digital sales, SaaS, or account-based selling is recommended. Duties include identifying corporate prospects and leads, networking through existing relationships for growth opportunities, building and maintaining relationships, and closing incoming business in the form of technology donations or service requests.

An ideal candidate for this position will have talent in B2B sales, experience with customer service, and the ability to grow existing relationships into mutually valuable partnerships. Human-I-T's Business Development Executives are responsible for achieving specific goals within a given time frame, requiring an individual who is results-driven and confident in their ability to create long term client relationships. This position reports to the Business Development Manager. Individual and team bonus compensation is available.

Job Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Educate new clients about Human-I-T services at every opportunity
  • Conduct 20-40 daily calls or emails with new prospects or leads
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations to new and existing customers
  • Attend virtual and in-person industry and networking events to prospect new clients
  • Make outbound calls and e-mails to existing donors each day
  • Work with an Account Manager and the Operations department to coordinate donation logistics
  • Regularly collaborate within the Business Development department to develop new services while improving existing offerings
  • Create and execute an organized outreach plan to ensure goals and quotas are met
  • Manage entire sales cycle from handshake to invoice while soliciting referrals and additional opportunities
  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs


  • High school diploma or G.E.D.

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications is preferred


  • 3-5 years of B2B sales experience preferred

  • Demonstrated ownership, maintenance, and growth of a multimillion-dollar account/line/book of business is required

  • Previous experience in ITAD or e-waste sales is ideal

  • Previous experience with electronics hardware sales, digital sales, SaaS, or account-based selling is recommended

  • Ability to stay organized, meet deadlines, and achieve goals

  • Comfortability in collaborating cross and inter-departmentally

  • Ability to follow and implement current sales strategy while actively suggesting improvements

  • Knowledge and mastery of the Sandler Selling System is preferred

  • Creative thinking to provide solutions based on the clients needs

  • Basic knowledge of electronic hardware including desktops, laptops, servers, audio-visual equipment and their components

  • Basic computer skills required and knowledge of Google Workplace preferred

  • Hard working, confident, self-driven and demonstrating integrity
