Description

Working in a team environment to develop Request for Quote (RFQ) options to meet competitive opportunities and customer needs. Manage pricing options from initial RFQ through follow-up phone calls and re-bids.


ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES


•    Responsible for administration of programs and customer requests for incoming projects. 
•    Obtain necessary documentation and cultivate RFQs in order to produce an accurate proposal. 
•    Review purchase orders received for accuracy.
•    Intake customer purchase orders and send them to Order Entry for processing. 
•    Acknowledge receipt of the order and review scope of the job with customer when necessary. 
•    Coordinate with Purchasing and Operations to ensure costing models reflect current and accurate labor overhead and material costs. 
•    Develop operational efficiencies in regards to RFQ process; manage deadlines and commitments to National Programs. 
•    Required to do sales lead research and qualification. 
•    Maintain working knowledge of current promotions and procedures, which includes commissions and rebates.
•    Communicate project changes to all departments to ensure products and services provided by Fabtex meet current specifications. 
•    Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of Fabtex products and industry knowledge.
•    Log RFQs within 24 hours of receipt. 
•    Submit quote requests to customers within 48 hours of receiving the RFQ. 
•    All team members are expected to log quotes on a daily basis. 

$23.00-$25.00/hour depending on experience. 

 

Qualifications

•    Two or four-year degree or equivalent with at least two years of relevant pricing/quoting experience in manufacturing operations
•    Working knowledge of functional area(s) related to the job
•    Consistently apply applicable policies, procedures, regulations, and program objectives when carrying out the duties of the job. 
•    Working knowledge of computers and software programs such as MS Office or other programs specific to the job
•    Excellent oral and written communication skills to communicate effectively
•    Strong organizational skills with ability to manage deadlines and prioritize workload and make adjustment to meet business needs
