Kids Associate - FVC

Summary of Position

This position supports the Kids Pastor and the Kids ministry at the Fuquay-Varina Campus as they partner with families to raise a generation for Christ.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Demonstrates spiritual maturity

• Ability to lead and disciple volunteers and families

• Ability to recruit, maintain, and coordinate large numbers of volunteers

• High administrative skills

• A team player willing to do what is best for the Gospel and the Summit Kids ministry

• A member of The Summit Church or willing and able to become a member

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to the Summit Kids EPOD

• Supports Kids staff by being a staff presence at services, participating in Special events, and maintains weekend responsibilities as directed by the Kids Pastor/Director

• Directs weekend discipleship (including Awana) in rotation with other staff.

• Assists team in putting out/collecting curriculum and organizing/maintaining the Summit Kids Space.

• Host a kids training once a month

• Helps with the execution of VBS at the campus

• Recruits weekly to the Summit kids serving team

• Attends FVC Kids team meetings and Campus/All-staff meetings as available

• Flexibility to any needs of the campus as directed by Kids Pastor/Director and/or Campus Pastor.
