Regional Director Tulsa

Purpose: Provide leadership for all Lilyfield programming in Tulsa

Job Responsibilities

Agency Wide

  1. Provide oversight, management and leadership of all Lilyfield programming in Tulsa, including EmpowerTulsa, Tulsa foster care program, and Oklahoma Pregnancy Care Network programming in Tulsa
  2. Provide onsite leadership within the Tulsa locations, ensuring that all staff carry out their duties as assigned and working with assigned supervisors to train and develop the Tulsa staff
  3. Provide oversight, management and leadership the statewide AmeriCorps program
  4. Supervise program managers for EmpowerTulsa and AmeriCorps
  5. Manage program budgets for EmpowerTulsa participate in budget planning process
  6. Lead the effort to meet program specific goals which are identified in the strategic plan
  7. Oversee and implement the PQI process for EmpowerTulsa and AmeriCorps programs in coordination with the Operations Manager
  8. Maintain compliance with COA regulations and standards in coordination with the Operations Manager
  9. Make policy and procedure update proposals as needed; monitor implementation and compliance with agency policy
  10. Coordinate efforts related to the building management and renovation in partnership with the Regional Director of Development
  11. Manage and maintain appropriate case files per agency policy
  12. Attend job related conferences which may vary from year to year
  13. Some driving may be required
  14. Other tasks as assigned

Prevention Programs

  1. Lead efforts to develop existing program to meet contract requirements
  2. Create and execute annual and quarterly client intake numbers in coordination with EmpowerTulsa staff for youth mentoring (after-school program), parent groups, and the pregnancy care services
  3. Ensure compliance with all TANF contracts and OPCN contracts
  4. Develop and oversee a mental health clinician in the Tulsa office in coordination with the Clinical Director

Community Outreach and Collaboration

  1. Attend local and stateside meetings with OKDHS, OPCN, and with other lead agencies as appropriate
  2. Raise awareness in the faith community about the scriptural mandate regarding foster care and care for the vulnerable.
  3. Assist with event planning and coordination as needed
  4. Various marketing and PR activities for the agency

Wage Classification:

Salaried

Financial Justification for the Position:

The position oversees a variety of programs in Tulsa. There is sufficient funding for this position through various contracts.

Work Hours:

Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m., some evenings and weekends as needed.

Reporting:

This position reports to the Senior Director of Operations.

Education/Training:

  1. Master’s level degree in social work, psychology or a human services related area of study with at least two years’ experience
  2. Clinical licensure in appropriate field or be under clinical supervision

  1. Willingness to agree to and abide by all policies and procedures including OP406 Code of Ethical and Christian Conduct and OP412 Faith Engagement.
  2. Solid clinical social work skills
  3. Strong organizational skills
  4. Experience in child trauma
  5. Demonstrated competence in assessment and evaluation of children and families
  6. Knowledge of issues surrounding adoption and foster care
  7. Ability to use discretion when discussing sensitive or confidential information
  8. Excellent interpersonal skills
  9. Ability to schedule and multitask
  10. Good problem-solving skills
  11. Meet requirements of licensing standards in regard to criminal background check.
  12. Be physically, mentally and emotionally capable of performing the assigned tasks and have the skills necessary to perform assigned tasks.
  13. Valid Oklahoma driver’s license

Experience:

At least five years of social work practice experience; At least three years of supervisory experience.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit on the floor, bend and be at ground level with children. Ability to drive throughout the state of Oklahoma.
