While our physical offices are in Madison, WI and Chicago, IL, we have remote staff in many other states and welcome candidates from the central region of the U.S.

What you’ll do:

  • Oversee activities related to Slipstream’s proposal process
  • Act as project manager for the proposal and be responsible for the value proposition, collection, organization of materials, content and design, and timely delivery of proposals
  • Collaborate with various internal teams and subject matter experts to manage proposal process from strategy, content development, draft revisions and final submission
  • Assists in developing compelling business proposals to assist in winning new business and retain our client portfolio
  • Contribute to content development/writing proposals like writing compelling executive summaries to create value proposition, editing, proof reading content
  • Create best practices around top-quality proposals
  • Maintain proposal content library, case studies, team and leader biographies and practice area material to aid in new business pursuits and current client retention
  • Assume accountability for quality control of all proposal/presentation deliverables


What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of five years of experience in developing proposals
  • Effective writing and editing skills with focus on (federal) proposal persuasive and technical content
  • Project management expertise
  • Ability to lead and influence
  • Organizational skills, utilizing modern technology
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments while remaining flexible to adopt to new situations as they arise
  • Background in sustainability or energy is preferred
